Vaccine Immunization Workshop

As per its tradition since June 2014, the School of Pharmacy University of Nairobi in collaboration with University of Kansas, USA once again announces a short course on vaccines immunization. This course is of great public health importance and significance as health professionals and the nation continue to address the impact of vaccine preventable diseases on national health agenda. The programme aims to build human resource capacity to increase national immunization coverage


The School of Pharmacy, University of Nairobi in collaboration with USAID’s Medicines, Technologies, and Pharmaceutical Services (MTaPS) program have developed a pre-service antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) course. The aim of the course is to build the capacity of students with knowledge, skills, and attitudes to promote AMS. Implementation of AMS principles in healthcare and community settings is known to lead to:
