Patient Counselling Competition - A Thrilling Battle of Clinical Knowledge

The event was organized by Pharmacy Students Association of Kenya (KEPhSA) in collaboration with the South
African Pharmaceutical Student's Federation (SAPSF), Kenya Healthcare Students Summit (KEHSS) and pharmacy
students organizations throughout Kenya. The questions, carefully crafted by KEPhSA, were sent out to the
participating schools. Each school's Organizing Secretary took charge of arranging the event, injecting their unique flair
to create an unforgettable experience.
The event aimed to provide a platform for pharmacy students to showcase their clinical knowledge in Tuberculosis
Management and was organized in line with the World TB Day 2022. By engaging students in clinical events beyond
the curriculum, the event aimed to foster a greater passion for practical applications of pharmacy skills.
Among the competitors, two extraordinary individuals emerged as the crème de la crème. Migan Diana Sunday and
Neema Kinya Mwenda emerged victorious and earned the opportunity to represent their schools at the national level.
Migan Diana Sunday's exceptional performance propelled her into the top two, securing her place in the international
competition.
